Static nothingness can bloom into glorious creation, this is my meditation; the interrelationship of Time and Memory which facilitate the creation and illusion of Culture, Identity, and History are the major themes that are woven into the fabric of my Art. The manifestations of these ideals are expressed in the form of painting and sculptural works. 

The paintings, in oil on panel or canvas, range from abstract to figurative with an emphasis on diverse color and ambient atmosphere; these represent a personal vision of the small world that embodies any particular reality.

The sculptural works are realized by process and meditation; the materials represent the transcendent existence of time through memory. Rope twine, cheesecloth, unfired clay with wood and polyurethane combine to make this fragile appearance with a solid existence. 

The inspiration for my work has its roots sprouting from various sources in literature, history, archeology as well as other artists and personal experience.   

I believe an artist has a social responsibility to the development of culture; I believe and artist is the core foundation in the religion that is art; I believe an artist can initiate action, creation, reaction and change.
